The Lonely Planet guidebook on Cuba starts with: there should be a sign in the arrivals hall of Havana airport that says, “Abandon preconceptions, all ye who enter here”. Boy is that true. Of all of our travels, Cuba has so far been the most different from what we thought it would be. And the most culture shock. We are loving it now that were are more experienced travelers. We have to go to a hotel and buy what is very slow internet, so I don’t know if we will be able to download photos.
